Conditions of Hire

Reservations of accommodation are accepted by Broughton Farm Caravans Ltd, herein after referred to as BFCL.

1) CONTRACT OF HIRE The hire contract shall be between the Hirer and all members of his/her party and BFCL.

2) INITIAL PAYMENT Booking will be confirmed on receipt by BFCL of the required deposit as detailed on the booking form. If the booking is made within 4 weeks of the start of the booking period the full accommodation charge will be due.

3) BALANCE PAYMENT The balance will be due 6 weeks before the start of the booking period.

4) CONFIRMATION OF BOOKING Once a Confirmation of booking has been issued by BFCL the Hirer will be liable for the total booking price.

5) BOOKING CANCELLATION BFCL will return all money paid (less a 10% administration fee) if a cancellation is made in writing, provided that BFCL can relet the booking period. If BFCL cannot relet the booking period the deposit will be forfeited. If cancellation is received within 4 weeks of the booking period the full accommodation charge will be forfeited.

6) PARTY SIZE Under no circumstance may more that 8 people occupy the property. BFCL reserve the right to refuse entry if this condition is not observed.

7) HIRERS RESPONSIBILITIES The hirer is responsible for the property and is expected to take reasonable care of it. It must be left clean and tidy at the end of the hire period.

8) DAMAGE All damages and breakages are the responsibility of the Hirer and will be charged for.

9) ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE The property will be available from 4.00pm on the day of arrival. The keys will be available for collection from Broughton Farm Caravan Park. The property should be vacated by 11.00am on the date of departure.

10) AVAILABILITY In the unlikely event that the property is not available for the booking dates due to reasons beyond the control of BFCL, the booking will be cancelled by BFCL. If an alternative cannot be arranged, BFCL will refund the full rental cost with the provision that the Hirer will have no claim over BFCL.

11) MOTOR VEHICLES AND PROPERTY BFCL cannot accept any responsibility for vehicles or property whilst within the curtilage of the property and BFCL cannot be held liable for loss or damage thereto, from any cause whatsoever.
